Minimum stay: should it be expressed as Days or Nights?

Currently, the new rate data entry table asks us for a minimum number of nights for each rate.  However, on the rates display in the ad, this number is shown label with the description "Staying at least x days".   I pointed this discrepancy out to Customer Support but received a call today saying that this is correct as displayed.

Perhaps my understanding of this terminology is flawed, especially given that my business model does not easily adapt to nightly rates.   So, I'd like to hear from other owners about this issue.

Question:  if the minimum stay on the data entry table is expressed in nights, should the minimum stay on the ad be shown as "days" or "nights"?
