Re: Rates and Booking Window needs to be linked!
feibus Feb 11, 2019 10:58 AM (in response to psphoto)Send it via the feedback widget. I also sent in that feedback last week (for the same reason). The more that do it, the higher up the list it goes.

Re: Rates and Booking Window needs to be linked!
psphoto Feb 11, 2019 11:11 AM (in response to feibus)Yep...I did that......
Hopefully more owners will too.
Why they don't understand that the booking time window is critically linked to the set rates section is beyond me!
I know a couple of owners who had to cancel guests simply because the owners forgot to set rates for a high seasonal period....and their booking window stretched into that period. You would think that VRBO/HA could at least remind owners of falling into this trap, but given their recent failures in other areas, I guess I'm expecting too much!

Re: Rates and Booking Window needs to be linked!
feibus Feb 11, 2019 11:39 AM (in response to psphoto)I feel like it's an evolving thing. First came the reservation window, then the rates changed to nightly and they've been updating that... but they didn't move that other setting over. I've let them know, you've let them know, other owners should let them know.

sonenalpmammoth Feb 19, 2019 12:29 PM (in response to psphoto)If only I had a dollar for each of the hours of my life I've wasted searching for that booking window setting. So glad to hear I'm not the only one!

psphoto Feb 19, 2019 1:48 PM (in response to sonenalpmammoth)It's obvious that the people who create the Admin site never actually USE it!

sonenalpmammoth Feb 19, 2019 2:47 PM (in response to psphoto)The thing about that setting is that its something that I use so infrequently that by the time I need it again, I've forgotten where it is.
