We by now are aware that VRBO responds to a prospect's intial inquiry to an owner's property with a email reply suggesting other properties.
My test lead has yielded another discovery. In addition to sending offers of other properties when the prospect sends an inquiry about my home, a week later the prospect gets another email asking them to try something different. If I had rented to the prospect, I don't welcome VRBO marketing again to my guest to try somewhere else as opposed to returning to my property at some future date.
I long for the days when the company that I pay my advertising dollars to, let me handle the prospects that I paid for according to my own business model.
