I can't see 'Payments' under ReservationManager™ in the left navigation - see image attached. Am I having a 'senior moment' (I have had a few), or has it dissappeared? Or more likely, am I looking in the wrong place?
I don't think you will see a "payments" selection until a payment is made. My "inquiries" went to "reservations" once booked and then to "payments" once the first payment was made. Have you had any payments? I can't verify that since I don't have any reservations without payments.
The other reason may be that you haven't initialized a merchant account. If you haven't RM can't take payments and that may be why payments is missing.
Thanks galiq. Where does it tell you how to set up a merchant account? I understood the missing payment link to be where you did your initial setup. Very confusing!!!
You are completely correct. The instructions state to setup your account to receive payments, Click "payments" in the menu in Reservations Manager to start the set-up. It not there at all as you stated and there has been no real answer yet as to how to do this. If anybody has the real link. Send it.
That's a relief as I have had one to many senior moments recently!!
Someone said it doesn't show up as I don't have a merchant account. This may be true, but no where on the site does it say:
1. Set up a merchant account.
2. The 'payment link will appear'....
I have checked the user guide, forums etc and can't find anything to explain the missing payment link. The strange thing is I can't find another post about the missing link. So I can only assume it is an error or the payment link has been pulled due to teething problems or it is a browser related thing... I have checked Safari and Firefox..but as it is basic html or something like that I don't think it is a browser problem. I'll give H&A a call tomorrow to find out and will post my findings.

Go to My Properties on the left hand Menu. Then on the right hand side of your Property is a "down arrow". Click that arrow and in that Menu and you see "Payments".
Quickly found out my country and of residence and the country of the property is not eligable anyway. So much for all that.

I looked where you said, but wasn't there on my version of Res Man.

I have found the payments function as well, in the same place. If you have multiple properties click the right hand side down arrow on each property and the drop down menu has the payments function. This was not there when I first signed into the new dashboard!, but now it is!
I'm not sure if you are using HA or VRBO. My properties are listed on HA.
My Dashboard no longer looks like your description (above). My Dashboard page (for multiple properties) has changed.....there is no longer a drop down menu (Choose Property I think it said). My Dashboard now comes up with all of my properties listed on the page (the info for each looks like my listing info with my thumbnail picture next to it) and I just click on the property I want. This changed just recently.
I am using HA. The drop down box I am referring to is on each of the property boxes on the dashboard. There is a down arrow on the right of each property box. Click this and you get a drop down menu.
Mike, thanks for clarifying that for me. I didn't realize that is what those arrows the the right of each property name were for....since this view of the Dashboard is so new, I haven't checked it out yet.I thought you were talking about the old view of the Dashboard when you were required to click on the small drop down menu "Choose Property".
My "Payments" link shows up in both places.....the drop down menu to the right of each property title and on the left under "Tools" (on the main page where my properties are listed) and also shows up under "Tools" after I have clicked on the individual property title.
The Payments link should always show in the My Tools section (left hand navigation) of your owner dashboard on HomeAway and VRBO. From the sceenshot you attached, it appears you are logging into the HolidayRentals site (Enquiries vs Inquiries)?
Please let me know if you are still having issues.

Hi Pete, I am also having the same problem. The payments function is not showing up in the Tools box under ReservationManager, so I am unable to proceed with the set up as described. Can you help?

Do I need to clear a cookie? I don't think I have done anything unusual, so a few others maybe having this problem.

What you are experience is a redirect. Homeaway.co.uk is the SAME site as Holiday-rentals.co.uk, so no matter which URL you type in or bookmark or link to, it will resolve to holiday-rentals.co.uk.
Hi, I am also having trouble setting up payments as the payments function is not listed under ReservationManager in the left hand Tools box. You are not the only one!
If you are using HomeAway or VRBO, please try logging out and logging back in. If the payments link is still is not showing up, send me your propertyid via private message and I will have our technical team investigate.

Thank you for your response. I have found the payments function in the drop down menu on the right of the dashboard, but not under Tools on the left. The instruction needs to be amended.
Mike, I am not sure why your "Payments" link shows up under the drop down menu ...mine has never shown up there (see my post above regarding how my Dasehboard page has changed) even when my Dashboard had the dropdown menu. The link has always been on the left side of the page under "Tools".
A mystery to me as well. Payments does not appear in the Tools box on the left, but it is in the drop down when clicking the down arrows on the right.
Thanks for your help Mike - unfortunately I only have one property and dont' have a drop down arrow next to it.
It seems to me there is a fair bit of confusion based on which site you use RM from (ie HA or VRBO)... and of course the fact the the link is not where the user guide says it is.
Thanks Tom for clairfying the forwarding of the domain homeaway.co.uk<http://homeaway.co.uk>. It was a HomeAway rep who suggested to me the problem was that I was not using RM from the HomeAway.co.uk<http://HomeAway.co.uk> site...which clearly you can't do as it resolves to holiday-rentals.co.uk<http://holiday-rentals.co.uk/>.
I'm going to give support a ring later today and will post any news.
Can you help on another matter. I have a property with multiple units (2). The property is uk/p54319. When I receive the newly formatted email notification it no longer tels me which unit is being enquired on. Can the unit name be added back into the notifications?

I can't find the payments link - see discussion above.
It does feel a bit like RM is a beta product and not yet ready for release. Even the telephone support is not available.
What a joke!!! After waiting 31 minutes in a queue I was forwarded to an answer phone :-(

How do I find the Reservation Manager Group or Discussion. Can't seem to find my way back to it.
I am trying to use ResMan to reply to enquiries, it works ok ish...but still doesn't put a photo in of my property and I can't for the life of me work out how to tell it to use a photo of my property. I have tried inserting an image to show you what I mean, but it wouldn’t insert for some reason.
Also can you tell me where it told me this was a beta version? Normally on a beta you are invited to take part..I think I was told this was the new upgrade and her is the user guide.
I hope you can call me tomorrow. I (and lots of others I am sure) would really like to get these teething problems sorted out or be given the chance to go back to the old system until the new one is out of beta.
Forgot to say...I have read the user guide from back to front (the one that tells me how to set up Payments by clicking a missing link ).
Link to 'Payment Set-Up' is under settings. It was phased into the launch. If I had know that I would not have been so concerned.
