Scam artists on HomeAway - heard of social.holidays@gmail.com?

This person is some how hacking into accounts on HomeAway and impersonating the property manager and renting out people's homes without their knowledge.

I have evidence.

I have notified the FBI and HomeAway.

They are collecting funds and asking that the potential guest wire transfer through Western Union to London (I live in Oregon).

Hello,
We are in the same case. Social.Holidays has stolen our money the day before yesterday!!
We notified VACATIONHOMERENTALS.com.

  We have also been in correspondence with someone who is scamming people with this e-mail. They wanted to do a wire transfer with us this morning! Definitely a scam. They contacted me about 2 properties.

They have been in contact with us as early as this morning. If there are specific authorities I should contact, please let me know.

  I have been contacted by this person as well after inquiring about property in Fire Island NY. I did a google search of the email after I becam suspicious about transferring money to England. Fortunately led me to this forum.

We nearly booked whilst already away but decided not to, however we have now been scammed by another doing exactly the same fraud using the email address:
contact@sunny-holidays.net
It would help if the owners kept their listings up to date as the first thing these scammers do is clear all non-available dates to reap the most rewards.
It is usually done by hacking the owners email address, we now have the UK police involved tracing the UK bank account that we sent money to, however we're not holding out much hope of getting any back!
