Has anyone else experienced slow web page loads in VRBO and HA.com?

For the last 2-3 weeks, I've been experiencing very slow page loads in the Owner Area of HomeAway.com and VRBO. Both the Listing Editor and all sections of the Reservation Mgr are slow. I just talked to customer support at HomeAway today, but the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone just gave me the typical "clear your cache and cookies" suggestion. I've done that and much more and have isolated the problem to being specific to HomeAway.com. They have apparently installed an analytics service on their web site that tracks our clicks, page views, and who knows what else. The tracking service is called http://counter.personyze.com. This service is causing web pages to take 60 to 90 seconds to load. I've experienced these same delays regardless of the speed of my connection.
If anyone else is having this problem, please let me know. And better yet, if you know of a way to resolve it, please, please, let me know. Responding to inquiries and editing my listing is taking 2 to 3 times as long as it should.
I was just on ReservationManager managing some inquiries and adding reservations to my calandar and didn't notice anything unusual. I definitely didn't see anything like the 60 to 90 page load times you mentioned. Is it still a problem for you?
Personally, when I have slow browser behavior its usually because of some out of control Flash page on some other tab.

Hi Jeff,
Yes, the problem is still occuring. Based on the other sites I frequently visit that are secure and require an account login, this problem is exclusive to the HomeAway and VRBO sites. It also happens on my iPad. Since you aren't experiencing it, I wonder if it is somehow tied to my HomeAway login? It happens once I log in and everything I do from that point. I can surf listings on both sites with no issue. I think I'll try changing my login credentials. I did receive a strange inquiry last week (from a bot like the one's on Craigslist), so maybe my account has been compromised.
Thanks for your reply! (and I plan to check out your iPhone app, too)

I experience this problem (and others...not just slow but will not work at
all) quite frequently and it seems to happen the most after HA has made some
significant changes to the website.
I contact CS and complete CS online forms and mainly get the reply regarding
clearing my cache changing my browser, etc. Usually after a few days of
being extremely frustrated, the issues seem to be resolved (until the next
time).
Thanks, Lin

No, I just don't seem to have any issues with slowing pages, but I am on VRBO, so I don't know if that makes a difference

I have been having the same problem for the past few weeks. The first time I tried to use Reservation Manager, it was so incredibly slow -- harkening back to the days of 1990s dial up -- that I gave up after 15 minutes or so. I'm still using my VRBO calendar but because that is so slow, as is editing my listing pages, I use Paypal and my own email to manage inquiries and payments.
I am on the internet constantly for work, rentals, etc., and haven't experienced VRBO-like slowness in years.
The calendar has been slow for a long time now, the commands take about 30 seconds to catch up and heaven help you when you go to add in booked dates...be patient and keep hitting refresh, that is the only fix I have found.
Yes,,,worse than usual and it is driving me nuts. If I contact CS I get the same reply that winjoh (original post) did..."clear your cache" or use "a different browser". If I hear this one more time.....
yes, the page is 1990's dial up slow
