Someone just asked me how to remain anonymous on this forum and how to make a post.

When you register (create an account for yourself) on this site, choose a user name. You can use any name that you wish to use as your user name. Your user name appears whenever you create a post or reply to a post. Your first name and last name do not appear. YOU will see your first and last name when you are logged in to this system, but others do not see your first and last name. They only see your user name. If you log out, you will notice that you can still read the forum, but any posts that you created show only your user name.

Also, edit the profile associated with your account. Click on 'Your Stuff" then "Profile" then "Edit Profile and Privacy" then "Privacy Settings". Here you can control who sees what parts of your profile, such as your email address. If you wish, set everything to 'yourself'. Using the 'yourself' setting keeps your information private.

To make a post (new discussion), go to this page:

Log in to the system using your user name and password.

Click on 'start a discussion'

To reply to somethig that someone else posted, click 'reply' on the lower right hand corner of their post.
