We have payed for booking by bank transfer, but owner received only ~50% of money. What we will do?

We have asked by property owner to make bank transfer for booking. We have transfer the sum, our account was devided the sum plus transfer fee, and the owner from Spain have write us, that he received only ~ 50% of the sum.

What we will do?

If it is some Spain tax, the owner should be known. But he havn't write us anything about, and we have ask him about "total price" for the rental.

    Do not send any additional funds at this time.


    Contact the financial institution that transferred the funds and request that the transfer details be verified.


    The financial institution will be able to investigate and determine if there was a problem with the transfer.


    This could be a scam and you could receive  a request for the "balance" of the transfer from the "owner" or it could turn out to be a mistake.  Wait for the financial institution to review the transfer.


    The owner should be willing to wait for the transfer to be investigated.
