I have a property in Brazil. I registered my property on homeaway.com. When I search my property on homeaway.com I'm #1 in that area. However, when I go to the brazilian site, aluguetemporada.com.br, my property is last, on the bottom. I guess this has to do with the fact that my fellow renters in Brazil registered on aluguetemporada.com.br and get priority there.
If I upgrade to bronze, will I be #1 on all sites in this area? Since I'm #1 on homeaway.com, that should mean that all other properties only have a standard subscription as myself, right? So, no need to upgrade to Gold membership if Bronze will get me on top.
Can someone please shed some light on how this all works?
I am assuming owners are not responding because they just don't know. I personally am not familiar with the area or the local site. If you are directing your inquiry to HA/VRBO customer service, perhaps you can ask them directly via these websites? Also, I've recently asked a question about ranking and have been advised by HA/VRBO staff to check the "Toolkit" portion of our Dashboard page. Perhaps this will give you some answers. Good luck!
Upgrading to the Bronze level would only affect your placement on HomeAway.com. Alugue Temporada’s search placement is based on tenure but those listings will rank above any HomeAway listings. I hope this information is helpful and please let me know if you have further questions.
