I agree with Kristin. I recommend that VRBO give this topic and discussion a "high priority" in terms of their web based support infrastructure. Perhaps even dedicating a special "section" to the topic. It is apparent that we have "overloaded" their current capacity with this discussion. Which indicates how important the discussion is, and also how many folks are involved in the discussion.

In addition, I suggest that VRBO and Homeaway help contribute to support legal costs that may be incurred to fight these proposed laws. Think about it. If Hawaii passes these laws, and vacation rental by owner types of enterprises "close their doors due to the excessive cost of compliance" then the same folks will cancel their VRBO and Homeaway accounts. This will result in declining revenues for VRBO and Homeaway. I would think that VRBO and Homeaway would have a great interest in seeing these types of proposed laws squashed, to the point of helping with the cost of squashing them.

Could a moderator please answer what happened to his extensive post? Somehow it has dissappeared and, if so, why?

We are tring to post important happenings and are unable to?
