      <title>LISTING NOT SHOWING UP WHEN I DO SEARCH??</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:04b039fb-19fa-4d5b-b530-d83bfa3ec6f4] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I noticed that over the past week I haven't had many inquiries.&amp;#160; SO I did a search - as a potential guest - on VRBO.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I put in the number of bedrooms and other property qualities I was looking for - and dates I knew I had available.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My property is NOT showing up???&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Is there something going on with the VRBO system?&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Is anyone else having this issue?&amp;#160; I'm paying for a site -- why isn't my property showing up????? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:04b039fb-19fa-4d5b-b530-d83bfa3ec6f4] --&gt;</description>

      <title>Where did my house/VRBO ad go?</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:da59de60-cff0-49e6-bebe-bcc7ece1b680] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Usually my home (59729) comes up at the top of the list for our area on VRBO - I realize this is due to the various criteria that have to be met - advertising level, photos, length of membership, etc.&amp;#160; But with the recent changes to our ads, I can't find my home anywhere, unless I plug in our specifif number.&amp;#160; For our area, there are 218 homes advertised.&amp;#160; It now lists 40 home on the page, under what I'm assuming is the VRBO sort.&amp;#160; At the bottom there doesn't appear to be a way to get to a second page....at least I can't find it.&amp;#160; Even when I add my own search criteria, i.e., the no. of bedrooms/ bathrooms, house type, and other amenities that I know my house provides, it doesn't show up....anybody have any ideas?&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:da59de60-cff0-49e6-bebe-bcc7ece1b680] --&gt;</description>

They occupy some of the most valuable real estate on my listing yet I seem to have no control over them. Why these four? Why only four? Who decided that these four pieces of information were so important? Can I change them? For instance, can I spotlight "no smoking" or "free parking" or some other issue that is more important to me and to my potential guests?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Frankly, the information "pets allowed" is not nearly important enough to be displayed this prominently since a quick review of listings indicates more than 9 out of 10 listings ban pets and guests who must bring pets would find it easier to do a search for properties permitting pets than to page through listings looking for ones that accept pets.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I suggest that VRBO give serious consideration to making better use of this real estate and to make it more accessible to and customizable by owners.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:7ddf64f6-9773-4750-88f2-7b42b7f99ba7] --&gt;</description>

      <title>Calendar on VRBO Needs Fixing!</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:a87ad8cc-b65c-45a6-bc8c-13f6a9e6f97c] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I feel like I've seen something about this in the past, maybe even talked to tech support about it.&amp;#160; In the legend above the public calendar that prospective renters see, the red block with a black dash through it is "Night Unavailable".&amp;#160; This does not jive with the calendar update we do when logged in to add a reservation.&amp;#160; I rent Sun to Sun, so when I add a reservation, the owner calendar shows check in and check out dates.&amp;#160; As we all know, on check out day, the guests do not stay for the night. But checkout day shows on the public calendar as night unavailable.&amp;#160; I also recall that I was told that, yes, that's the way it is.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Bottom line, the public calendar is simply incorrect.&amp;#160; It needs to be fixed.&amp;#160; I do hope that a moderator will see this and have it taken care of.       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:6f75a9af-75e3-4823-a739-2e0bf80ecac3] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I know I saw some discussions on this issue a few month back,&amp;#160; I've&amp;#160; looked through some of the old articles and have not found any reasonable resolution.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; The problem is that I bought a combined Homeaway/VRBO Combo listing for a property I just bought in the fall,&amp;#160; and this appears to have been a costly mistake.&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; If you look at my property&amp;#160; VRBO&amp;#160; #&amp;#160; 3494982ha or Homeaway 3494982&amp;#160; you will see that I list my spring time rates to be $630 for 2 nights&amp;#160;&amp;#160; or $1120 for a week.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; And I keep a private list that I can quote for any number of days in between 2 and 7.&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; This model has worked very well for me on my other 2 houses.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; The problem is when people do a search for a property on VRBO,&amp;#160; VRBO is deliberately ignorant on how to compute the daily rate,&amp;#160;&amp;#160; It tells people that the nightly rate is $160 /&amp;#160; night.&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; When people query and I explain that it is $160/nt if they stay 7 nights but it is $315/nt if they only stay 2 night,&amp;#160;&amp;#160; I usually lose the rental.&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; My rates are competitive but VRBO won't let me state my rates&amp;#160; accurately..&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I raised this as an issue and VRBO's response was too bad, they said I have to use "quotable rates"&amp;#160; if I want them to display my rates accurately. Unfortunately quotable rates is not flexible enough for me to set my rates the way I want to set them.&amp;#160; I don't have a problem with the concept of quotable rates,&amp;#160; but they need to make it flexible enough so that I can set my rates in a manner of my choosing.&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; I find this unconscionable.&amp;#160; I know others have seen this problem. &lt;strong&gt; Have any of you found an acceptable solution, or is this something we need to continue to escalate to make VRBO do the right thing&lt;/strong&gt;.?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And it gets worse.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; I noticed that the property that I have where the VRBO listing is used as the template has my rates displayed correctly.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; So I asked if I could move my new property listing over to a VRBO template rather than a Homeaway template.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; The answer was that won't work, since they plan on shifting VRBO templates over to use the quotable rate structure as well and at that time they will continue to break that which has not yet been broken. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h1 class="ha" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17.600000381469727px; margin: 12px 1px 9px 0; padding: 0 0 0 8px; color: #222222; background-color: #ffffff; border-right-width: inherit; border-right-style: inherit; border-right-color: inherit; font-weight: normal;"&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:6f75a9af-75e3-4823-a739-2e0bf80ecac3] --&gt;</description>
